Got home and my silkie hadn't made it :-( thank you for the information. I have one chicken with a watery (pinkish) glossy eye. I'm thinking I'll give her some meds too.
I just bought Tylan 50 for my pullet. Does anyone know the dosage I should give? I'd say she's only about a pound. I need help fast she's gasping for air and seems very sick.
It's been like this for about 4 days and seems to be getting better and no other symptoms so I'm being hopeful that it's not anything to do with any other illness.
Hi everyone one of my chicks has a pink watery eye. It seems to be swollen but not really bothering her. She isn't breathing funny or acting different. She is missing some feathers around her eye due to her scratching it. Can anyone help me? I've tried getting a picture but it's raining and...
I agree. The others are much younger. The rooster is a bully and most of them are picking on the silkies. It's better today but the last couple days have been rough. We separated them yesterday for a while.
Yes we thought he was the rooster. He definitely has the behavior. We aren't for certain how old they're. I'd say some are 7-8 weeks and the EE might be a bit older. We have 2 EE, 2 silkies, 2 rode island reds, 2 austrolorps and 1 buff Orpington
Hi everyone! I wrote in here a few weeks ago trying to figure out what some of our chicks were but unfortunately something for in our coop and got them all. We have recently gotten 9 new ones. We actually got 10 but one ended up getting sick the day after we brought them home. She was wheezing...
Any idea about this girl? Or boy? We are laughing because we had the breeds of all of our chickens all wrong! This is exactly what we needed someone else's advice and information!
