Its fowlpox. Hopefully it is the dry not wet. It apparently starts from a mosquito bite. It can live in the mosquito for 8 weeks. There is no treatment due to its a virus but there is a vaccine for it. If you have a lot of loose bedding with their dander clean it out. If only one or two chickens...

Oh I am familiar with chicken math. My husband said I could get a couple. I get a couple every week, I now have a total of about 70+ chicks and 11 ducks. 4 ducks and 7 ducklings 1 just died today. SO that equals a whole lot of eggs and meat.
Not so much a coop as it is a barn. We ripped the old barn boards off and then my husband put up new plywood and siding. It isn't finished but the cement is poured and the door will go on tomorrow hopefully.
