    We leave the top off, but if you have an active duck to contain of course you can always drill holes for air. I also put a seatbelt around the container to help avoid movement for the duck and safety in case of an accident.

    I would keep her inside while she heals so that she isn‘t picked on or stepped on by the other ducks. Clean and bandage the wound. The products you use can depend on the depth exposure of the wound. Can you post pictures?
