Ideas on what my bantams are?

X2 on the pullet. Looks exactly like my silver duckwing OEGB.

    D'anvers chick picture

I was trying to get a picture of my baby D'anvers chick. Since she's unbelievably tiny I wanted something in the photo for comparison and ended up with this picture.

What kind of Silver or Blue chicken is this? We're stumped

Check out BoggyBottom Bantam's website and find the pictures of the self-blue d'anvers- they look close to your bird. Also, maybe post on the D'anvers thread and someone there can tell you if that's what your girl is.

It wouldn't be a D'anvers with that muff, would it? Either way, you're awfully lucky. That'a beautiful bird.

    Too early for wattles?

Sadly, we can't keep roosters here. Out of 7 bantams chicks this year, 4 were roosters! This was the only Orpington so I'm very glad to hear it's a hen. I can imagine that when you raise a lot of a particular breed you get good at identifying the boys from the girls. Thanks again for the reply.

It's very, very sweet and I'm hoping it's a pullet, but I'm starting to notice wattles developing. Is it too early to see those...

Please help sexing 6 week old bantams

I could use a few guesses on the sex of two of my bantam chicks. I had terrible luck with straight run chicks this year- waaaay more roosters than pullets. I'm pretty sure these two are roosters, too. First is Bubbles. I think it's a Cochin who was weeks behind the others feathering out and...
