Too early for wattles?

This is the first time I've had an Orpington, much less a bantam Orpington. I got this little one from a breeder on March 18th and it was a few days old at the time. It's very, very sweet and I'm hoping it's a pullet, but I'm starting to notice wattles developing. Is it too early to see those on a girl?

That's great news. I was pretty sure she was a she, but those pink wattles had me nervous. Thank you for your help.

Sadly, we can't keep roosters here. Out of 7 bantams chicks this year, 4 were roosters! This was the only Orpington so I'm very glad to hear it's a hen. I can imagine that when you raise a lot of a particular breed you get good at identifying the boys from the girls. Thanks again for the reply.
