I have a few chickens whos eyes are watering. Their eyes also mat shut and develop large capsules of water under the eyelid almost the size of a marble? Anyone know what's causing this. I got some antibiotic at the store this week.
The baby ducks I have are sooooo messy. They are in a stall with about 30 baby chicks. I can't keep water in the waters because they splash it out and get the baby chicks very wet. Any ideas?
I'm not saying that we should have no regard for animals at all. I'm currently applying for vet school. I do think that people have a very crazy idea about animals.
Animals are not people and they shouldn't be treated as such. We have been commanded by God to be good stewards and also to be in...
Most of the Animal Rights people seem like cookoos to me. We have people losing their jobs and houses everyday . Kids who don't eat enough and they are worried about saving animal. What a sad thing America has come to.
I got some bad feed that wiped out some of my chicks one time. Are they acting humped up with their tails down? If this is the case take the feed back!
I had the same problem. I was only going to get about 15 chicks and now I have nearly 80. I really suspect that we'll see you on this thread in the near future saying you have between 40-50. The more chicks you have the more fun you have.
I got 11 in the mail about a month ago. I've been raising them and a guy came a long and asked what I'd take for them. I priced them real high and he took em anyway. Now I've got to start all over.
I'm going to be getting an incubator soon. I've got a really old one from my grandpa and it won't hatch the eggs. I've been thinking about a hovabator ( I think that's how you spell it). What is the recommended type?
