Anyone know where to find these? I have been looking high and low with no luck! I'd love some chicks, young birds, hatching eggs, or a rooster of any age really (I have two hens).
Thanks for any help!
Hi everyone! I have been searching high and low for Bantam Salmon Faverolles! I finally found some eggs for sale on Ebay, but didn't have any luck hatching any. Does anyone know anywhere to get hatching eggs, chicks, adults, etc? I have two hens, so I really want to find or hatch a male, and of...
Hi Everyone! Been lurking here for a while. Gorgeous birds ^ btw. I have LF orpingtons and love them. I am considering the possibility of adding bantam orps or eventually switching to all bantams. Where has everyone gotten their birds originally? I don't see many hatching eggs available either...
Oh I love my EEs though! They're such a fun surprise. I hatched some eggs I got at a poultry swap almost two years ago and got 3 hens and 3 rooster, which I couldn't keep. One hen is a teeny little bantam mix- looks like an OEGB just a bit bigger. Doesn't resemble an Americana. At. All. I was so...

These (believed to be pullets ) are a little over 3 weeks old and I'm a bit stumped on their breeds.
I have two just like the above pic- I was guessing Wyandotte but have no idea what color they might be.
Pics 2 and 3 are the same chick.
Chick in pic 4 has a single comb and whiteish...
Yea that's the basic situation. EE hens currently, marans and OE chicks. I've got severals weeks/ months to decide whether to keep a marans boy or not.
So just leaving him out with all during the day, and bringing him in if needed t night? Yes, maybe I am making this too complicated;) I just started thinking of potentials and realized I wasn't really sure how fertilization worked...
Oh and because I live in a sort of suburban area (no HOA or legal restrictions, just don't want to tick off my neighbors with night
Crowing) I was thinking of bringing to rooster into the garage at night to muffle sound and give the hens a break). Anyway, just trying to figure out if this idea...
