Hello and Welcome to the area. :) I live in the Upper Peninsula as well.. Fishers, weasels (very numerous in the U.P), mink, coyotes, fox (both red and Gray), Eagles/hawks. My biggest concern is feral cats! I use hard wire to secure the coop.
I just put it in their water. I worm in March and Sept.. My girls already started laying again.. I had six eggs today, yay. Going to make a quiche tomorrow with them.
I got really lucky on my Mystery chick, but I got four extra packing birds in my order, which turn out all Roo's.
My girls just started laying again, molted right before winter as well. It's been extremely cold, so I figured that played into them not laying and the sun hours.
Nope, sorry. I just have factory Brahmas, and I have brahma/Dom mixes.
Any Upper Peninsula folks around..? Anyone close to Sault Ste Marie, love to meet some chicken people. :)
Can you show me a top view looking down on them and then a side profile. I honestly can't tell from the pictures, and I live for these kind of threads.
The white one looks like a pullet, the dark one has me thrown. The darkness of the legs say pullet, but that comb.. I need more pictures.
