What snacks DON'T or chickens like???
Mine go crazy over peas and corn in cooked rice, they love soup with any sort of vegetables, but wont eat carrots in any form. They love pecking at my jewellry though!- venus

Alternative to Scratch feed???
What is BOSS?? I'm from New Zealand and don't recognise this food. Is it a seed, a vegetable, or something else? My girls love scratch, corn on the cob, peas, lettuce, cucumber, cabbage leaves, broccoli leaves and yoghurt. I spoil them rotten so they get scraps and treats most days. They...- venus

are your dogs and chicken friends
My cat loves to guard the chickens, but I don't think it's in a maternal way. There's no way I'll free range them in my small yard. I'm sure they would all end up as cat dinner. Instead I carry them to their tractor every day for a few hours grazing then carry them all back to their coop...- venus
