    ALABAMA!!

I'm thinking it's Mycoplasms ... And I know where it came from... It was a stupid mistake. A while back I got 6 silkies from someone. Of course I had heard all about biosecurity but In my excitement, I said what the heck and out them directly in the main pen. I'm fairly confident this issue...

    ALABAMA!!

I'm thinking it was the eggs. How old were they when you put them in? Also, I like to use at least 3 thermometers when measuring incubator temp

Got to love that Sebright attitude!!! I had a buff roo that was the boss of the all the other roosters (including a rir roo). Well, if you decide you want them, they are free. I just want them to go to a good home

My domestic quail are attracting wild ones.....

To be honest, I am applying for a wild game breeders licence, so I don't want to jeopardize that by catching the female and all of the legal implications... So, I will deal with it some other way.

My domestic quail are attracting wild ones.....

I looked at the laws in my state. And it seems that my other idea was just as bad. I was going to just release my extra male and let the two live happily ever after ««««« illegal too.

My domestic quail are attracting wild ones.....

Tonight I went to get the eggs from my bobwhites... As I walked my a cage, where only one male is currently being kept, I saw a female sitting on top of his cage. I freaked out and went to check the other cages because I thought I left a cage door open, but she wasn't mine. All of my females...

Temp spiked to 103 on day 1 of incubation...

In the end. I think all of them hatched. When my temp jumps up as high as yours I like to take the lid off and let them cool down, and put the lid back with the temp re adjusted. I hate when that happens. While I was gone from the house one day, someone set a book on the incubator, and made...

    Rooster or hen?

I took him back out because where he grabbed them to assert his self was way too close to the others eye... Like just above the eye and I don't need a bunch of blind quail

    Rooster or hen?

I found this because I just introduced a new male quail into an all male pen. He chased the others around and "mated" with them ....... I don't know what to think
