Tonight I went to get the eggs from my bobwhites...

As I walked my a cage, where only one male is currently being kept, I saw a female sitting on top of his cage.

I freaked out and went to check the other cages because I thought I left a cage door open, but she wasn't mine. All of my females are accounted for.

After realizing the situation, I tried to shoo her off, and she hopped off the cage, but won't leave. I think she is attached to the male of mine.

Is it normal for wild ones to be hanging out with mine? I think its the breeding season because mine just started to lay...

And I'm not sure what to do because she won't leave

Im starting to get the same issue, only with my mallards. Before I've never seen em flying around our land but since about two months ago every weekend I see mallards flying and swooping down to where my ducks are. I would love to catch them but it seems difficult

Try to put him in a little carrying cage and leave the main door open so it can fly in and you can shut the door when it's in.. That might work
