    Seems like every week I've got a new Blue Cochin who wants to sit. But not 1 out of my flocks of Golden or Silver Laced has even hinted at going broody. Go figure! Maybe next year.

    I usually pen the bully chicken in a single cage up on legs high enough that the other chickens can run under and around. For some reason it gives confidence to the "lower on the pecking order". 🤷‍♀️ I use the same cage when stopping the broody hens. I don't know, maybe Cochins are easier?
