Is this normal for 2 hens to sit on eggs in the next to each other? I'm surprise that they don't fight I think its funny. They both lay there eggs in there and they both sit on half the eggs. I guess they want to keep each other company like room mates? haha.
Quails hatched today. 13 more eggs to go out of the 100. You can see the duck eggs inside the incubator in the picture too

OK . We have 6 out of 6 hatch from the eggs and they are all looking healthy! 100% hatch rate and no problems! We just received duck eggs from the same facility and it has been already incubated from a duck and there is a bird inside there vains are all there aircell are big and see movement...
I do not know which eggs are chirping but its only on day 14 and I hear a bird chirping inside the incubator weird isn't it.
I also have chickens eggs with chicks inside and not sure if they are chirping or the quails

I bought some fertile eggs that had baby chicks inside that where still alive and I wasn't sure if i should put them inside with my quail eggs since I they didn't know how long it has been sitting but I candle them all and they where moving! I now have them with my quail eggs and wasn't sure if...
I wasn't able to candle it so i decided to crack one.
i had 100 quail eggs in the incubator and i just cracked one to check if it was any was still alive and I cracked 1 out of the 100
Guess what I saw! A BIRD. I saw a heart beat and after that I didn't crack any more
I think you can raise humidity to 70% and still have an sit for the next week you can just let the humidity drop to 45% for couple days and raise it again so it can dry off a bit.
