Well, today a neighbor came over and we were enjoying the sights of the flock and he crowed. Its decided. My soft hearted animal friends have all been notified and have a week to find him a home. Posts have been made. Otherwise he will be soup.

Well, we are out there daily a d are keeping a close eye on their health and happiness. So far so good. I'm not timid to change stuff around if it diesnt work. Thanks for the comments everyone

It's the brown gray speckled looking one. Its slowly acting like a rooster. I hope for the chicken it's a girl, but hey.... for fun I'm asking.... I will give it life until im certain.
I don't ever leave them locked up and the run is 10x10. They only go in to roost and sleep. My math has worked for my personal case because they have yet to have a real issue between each other. I have no problem culling a bully. I didn't have to yet though. Which my vegetarian soft hearted...
Yeah, its worked ok. I have 2 mini roosters and 15 hens. But one hen is slowly turning out to be a rooster and if I will only have 14 if he does. I'm accounting for some natural losses in the near future too. We have an active fox in the neighborhood and mine free roam.
Im about to give them a third. One likes to lay on the floor. So far there have been no issues of fighting. A couple may lay theirs in the woods. But I dont really mind.
