    Grit?

    I have only given grit to Chickens who have no access to the ground and chicks in brooders and even then It is not a steady diet of it. Usually once or twice a week seems to work well. So if you chickens are on the ground I would not worry about it. They are good to go.

    So the other two hens in the coop lay a pale blue egg and a darker brown egg. So per genetics a blue egg will never be green and a brown egg will never be green either. So then the only other source for the egg is the chick and no other birds can get into the run and coop.
