Very true.....hard to know. Once I separated him, he seemed to perk up for a day, then went downhill quickly and passed. *sigh* bunnies can be frustrating and there is so much I don't know. I'm not sure if they are eating on their own yet. I've seen them chewing, but then also seen them spit it out. They have free choice hay & breeder/kit (18%) pellets. The water is in a ceramic crock on the floor of the pen and I've seen them hop into it (when it was empty), so I'm assuming...- APDoxies

My dog had puppies and all of her breast are very hard and misshapen.
As long as the milk looks good, there's no fever (anything over 103), and no hot/tender spots, she's fine. She is just a great milk producer! Lol I've raised dogs for over 7 years & I've seen them look like this several times. Now - when she goes to wean them - you will have to watch closely for...- APDoxies
