Yes, he had a bumblefoot issue on the top side of that foot and I got the core out of it. However checking him today and finally getting a picture of the bottom of his foot there was a bigger area of bumble foot which i cleaned out and gave him amoxicillin and baby aspirin for.- cher1190

Hello, I have a Rooster, Rocky Roo who has a severe case of Scaly leg mites. I have him isolated in an inside pen and have been treating him with vaseline and tea tree oil/almond oil. Oh, wow, you may be right. Thankfully we actually get our chick starter at Rural King, no issues there with the chicks or feed AND Hoover Hatchery supplies both Rural King and Tractor Supply with their chicks. Thanks for the info- cher1190

Ok, and thank you, I will do more research on both of those subjects, do you do the necropsy yourself? I wanted to, but was a little apprehensive as I have never done one before. We have butchered chickens as a family growing up on the farm, just never done anything like that before.- cher1190
