    IMO, and I'm sure as a show person you will agree, that many 'farm collies' are unethically bred. especially OTSC. English shepherds are gorgeous though. My friend shows them in UKC.

    I got another one today! No pictures unfortunately but it definitely seems like a meat spot the just gets stuck to the end of the shell. I now suspect Winnie is the culprit. She never eats any calcium supplements so I’m definitely trying to find a solution for that. Super thin shell.

    Thank you, and that is what I am assuming. Necropsy isn't really necessary as no one else is sick or has any signs of internal issues as well. She was around 2 and a half and was a show quality brahma so maybe her size affected her as well.

    My flock is also infected with viral coryza that cannot be technically cured, so she could have just finally succumbed to her illness.

    Well, one of my girls (Iris) passed away tonight. she was the one i suspected to have layed the funny egg. She had green poop this morning and was gone when i went to check on them this afternoon (5). Maybe it was an internal thing and this was the warning sign? 🤔

    She prefers crushed egg shell over oyster shell, but we sell most of our eggs and don’t have access to them often.

    She is not new to laying, she is about 3. I don’t have the contents anymore but it didn’t really feel like the membrane inside the egg. it felt sort of like a piece of raw meat, if that makes sense.
