I dunno if you guys remember me

But I had a scovy and indian runner that were very house trained and then I had a bobcat incident.... I am thinking of getting another little scovy, but I am having issues convincing my father, any good points? I mean, we have a duck house, a little fence surrounding our porch to prevent poop...

    I miss my duck :(

I'm honestly looking for any color of scovy if that what your asking. I'm hoping for a girl, that way I won't get my leg humped again. Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. It's so late in the year and I want one sooner or later Yeah, Dingus (my runner) would quack really loud and not look for...

    I miss my duck :(

Yes, I would love for that but my indoor ducks were definately the best pets I've ever had. I wouldn't recommend them for anyone though, it was like having two two year olds. Changing diapers, watching them carefully (they get into things sometimes, like the dogs food >:[ ) but my muscovy, the...

    I miss my duck :(

Today, mustard would have been 7 months. I'm so down about that. I feel like he didn't have a very long life... Since the incident, I have not personally seen the bobcat around, but have heard from my friend (who lives half a mile from me) and someone I chatted with at the duck pond (I can't...

I lost my ducks to a bobcat a few nights ago

Scovies may be the ugliest duck species, but on the inside, i think that they are the most beautiful. I have never met a bad scovy. They're always sweet and kind. I should know as well as anyone that this happens in life, since I actually want to go to college to study big predators like that...

I lost my ducks to a bobcat a few nights ago

hah, a goose in the city... not likely. No I am set 100% on a scovy if I do get another one... Out of every duck I have ever met scovy's personallitys are just wonderful... I would've never believed it wasn't a bobcat until I saw it with my own eyes... trying to haul my very heavy muscovy over...

I lost my ducks to a bobcat a few nights ago

It really sucks, so unexpected. My duck was like my son... No joke. I loved that duck more than any human being on the planet... Its just so quiet and empty. He was always so happy no matter what, his happy hissing and tail wagging and cheering me up is gone forever...

I lost my ducks to a bobcat a few nights ago

I live in the city.... Not many places for a bobcat to live... It's been killing peoples dogs too.. Both dingus and mustard were brutally killed, I could not find dingus's body but when I found my duck he was cold and stiff, with the bobcat trying to pull him over a six foot fence.... It is...

puzzled - my "indian runner" ducks are grown but...

Yeah my runner looks like a normal duck but when she rarely stands up straight she is alert, or has decided you're her 'leader' She also seems to trip all over herself.

Do ducks not lay every day?

No she hasn't hatched ducklings ever... I don't think she's mated with a duck EVER. Hahhaha. She sleeps by the fence and her day spot is in the corner of my backyard so she's under the shade. She tries to stay close to the fence so when someone comes out she can see them. She's such a dork.

Do ducks not lay every day?

I know that my little female indian runner has already been laying (previous owners told me so), she is very happy here, I bring her in (diaper of course, no naked ducks inside) and she loves me and she loves her boyfriend a ton... Plus both their spoiled butts get tons of treats. My question...

    my new lady duckie

Yes, both my ducks wear diapers, it's actually AWESOME. Yeah, it's really weird, she seems to do it when she wants me to pay attention to her. &your duck is really pretty, it creepily looks exactly like little dingus. Weirdos haha.

    my new lady duckie

she is also a house duck, like my big male scovy, her momma has to move to georgia, which is sad. Because this is such a wonderful duck, I don't even think I'd ever be able to give her up now. :p She's a runner. I know, I have a big scovy and this little runner but they just kinda hangout...
