Considering Turkeys
Ok my husband wants turkeys now...but mom says they are kind of on the dumb side and that if we get them I would have to go herd them in everytime it rains or they will drown......Is this at all true??? -

Their Hatching!!
Thank you! The lady that gave me the eggs from freecycle told me they are RIR. But these chicks do not look like any that I ordered from Ideal. HUM.... I also have 15 buff orphinton due to hatch in 2 days.........I got them from a girl in North Carolina. So they are shipped ones...we shall...- janramsey

I need help!! Watching!! or Mental???
I need help watching these eggs....I am watching to see if they are hatching....and my house so needs to be cleaned......so I thought if I took a picture I could get you all to watch.....and I could clean!! heheeheh 2 have already hatched...so far I dont see no more pips cracks or...- janramsey

Their Hatching!!
Ok all.....this was my first time to use a real incubator and the first time to hatch in over 10 years!!! I am so excited..... Here are 2 pictures of the very first chick .. It came into this world yesterday morning about 8:30...not due till today......so we named it EARLY. Hope you all enjoy!!- janramsey

DE Question
Hello, No any de you use around chickens and any thing else you want to stay alive needs to be food grade.........a good rule of thumb is if you cant eat it dont feed it to your babies.......I just bought a 50# bag of food grade de.......I am so not missing the ants in my house or in the coop...- janramsey

Get ready!!! FOR ANYTHING!!! I ordered 26 chicks (chicken chicks) I got 28 chicks and 1 duck .... All the chickens are doing well and growing like weeds.......lets just say I wasnt ready for a duck and it passed.... Good luck!!- janramsey

Welllllllll the poor thing flopped around drug his head and then just died........I am so upset......didnt want any ducks........it got here and I fell in love........so now I am thinking of a duck park....... MY BABIES ARE HERE!!! BUT!!!!
Well my order from Ideal just arrived. I ordered 26 chicks...thats baby chickens......... and 28 chicks and 1 DUCK arrived all safe and sound....... Funny use for grits
Yes..I read this online.......says that the ant is mostly water.....when it scarfs up the grits they suck of the water......and its adios ants... (who is worried sick bout her babies..gonna be tomorrow before they arrive..darn it!!)- janramsey
