You said they all have single combs and silkies generally have walnut combs, so I'm thinking your birds are mixes. I'm curious to see what your silkied cochin looks like
They do not indicate a fertilized egg but are caused by the rupture of a blood vessel during formation. It's nothing to worry about. Your hen is fine and they're safe to eat :)
