    I posted about this chick the other day but I have a better image of the comb. It’s about four weeks old and I want to know what it could be. I have no idea who the mother is but the father is a speckled Sussex.

    My bbw turkey stopped laying! She is only one year old but pretty big. We didn’t do research about her so we didn’t know she was a meat bird. Wilma started out laying early spring but stopped. She is fed game bird pellets and scratch feed. Any ideas?

    Did a injury happen

    Not even a week ago we had our first attack of an owl. She got one but we saved all the rest. Now another one just died who had no issues whatsoever could it be from the attack or something else?

    There are others but not like her they just have a few missing. There are two roosters but they don’t act bad and she is like the chicken who pecks everyone so she isn’t at the bottom.

    My rir chicken Marge has lost all her feathers. I started to notice early spring lots of feather loss and found out we had a mite infestation. All of that had been gone for a few months and she seemed to be getting better but now it’s going down hill. Our winter is coming it’s snowed yesterday...
