its possible that it may be natural or sunburn i guess, but i just a was a little worried because hes the only one and these are my first set of chickens/rooster im raising, just want to be sure... so you think its okay?
my ruby rooster im noticing has very red legs and feet and his feet look a little swollen underneath, im wondering if there is something wrong because i have 3 buffs including him and the other two buffs dont have red. i really want to find out what is wrong quick so i can fix it, please help...
thank you, in the morning when i checked on her i found she had released a latex broken shell. well popped i should say. so it must have broken inside and later she let out the latex part. thank you for the idea with the glove, in case of something like that again it may be a good idea.
today i saw my hen on the nesting box for a couple of hours, and later when she came out, i went to get her egg and there was no egg. so i looked at her, she was sort of standing almost hunkered down with her neck and squating a tiny bit... not pecking at the ground just standing still, shed...
I'll take a picture when I get home, in about 3 hours. It just looks like little sprouts of baby fuzz almost on the web part of her toes, like the part where the toes start from the foot lol if you know what I'm trying to say lol but I'll get a picture soon
This is about my chick ruby who already is believed to be a roo-by. She's about to be 2 months old and I'm noticing that he has what looks like tiny fuzz comin through between the scales on her little feet? Is this bad? The other two pellets do not have this only ruby. Mind you she may be a roo...
so far we have 11 chickens and 1 is believed to be a rooster, its still only a little over a month old though so we will see. but how many hens should you have per rooster in your flock?
i LOVE taking pictures of anything in the country, mostly my chicks or things around the farm.. here are a few. and i actually just have my iphone camera right now hahaha.
