    Chickens new to outdoor coop

    Depends on the chickens hehe just keep at it and they will eventually do it on their own, mine took about a week (if I remember correctly) before they started doing it on there own

    whentto let my girls out, I have one broody gal (the same one again) went to kick her out of the nest box so Goldie could lay her egg in peace. Started to panic because only Barbrque (my broody) was in the nest box. I could not think how did Goldie get lost she was in the coop when I locked them...

    Blocked the nest box, she camped out next to it. I put her on the root with the other gals about 5 this times then she decided to push Chicky off and then she seddeled in. Keeping my fingers crossed and I don’t have to set up a broody cadge

    Our coop was made for 4 gals we could put 2 (I think max we can have in town is 5-6)more in but I don’t want to crowd them :(.

    Barbecue is broody again. We got our chickens last spring and after she started laying eggs about 2 weeks later she went broody, and she’s at it again. I keep telling her we do not have a rooster so her eggs and the other gals will not turn into babies. She will not believe me. I’m hoping...
