I do give them Oyster Shell to help harder the egg shells but have only done it once every couple of weeks and it is eaten quickly. I'll keep it available every couple of days. Thank you.
Thanks pozees2, I already give them meal worms every day and they range free several hours each day so you'd think they have enough protein. However, I will buy some higher content feed as I have chicks coming anyway and have bought some ceramic eggs. I've been checking for eggs every couple of...
I've got the same egg eating problem and it's getting worse. I have not been able to identify whose doing it. Any advice on that? I'm using Dumor Layer feed (16%). What feed and protein snacks did you use to solve the problem? Thanks.

Hey Bizzynik,
These look a lot younger than 8 weeks.
My BCM's are only 6 weeks old and are a lot bigger than the ones you posted. Mine are growing as fast as any other birds I've had.
My guess is that yours are about 4 weeks old although I'm not familiar with Wheatens.
Thank you BluesLadies. I live near Walterboro, SC and have a line on some here in South Carolina. However, if they do not work out, I will certainly contact the one you mention.
