    Brinsea makes High-tech fully automated ones that I use. they have a tremendous hatch rate for me (92-100% over the past 3 years). I have a Brinsea R-COM 3 egg. All I have to do is plop three eggs in, add water to the humidity pump, select what kind of eggs they are, and it handle everything...

    Thanks for that! I will certainly look into it! Not that I ever suspect her to get mean, but the contract (through Dream Power) makes it a federal (or state, I can never remember which) crime to eat them.... just shows how much I love my babies :) lol

    I Live up in Latigo, which is just east of Eastonville, and the birds I get from Big R are always beutifull birds, but I do agree with you on the gamble of what breed it is.     So Today I lost my second hen to dorwning in my duck pond in the past 4 months. :'( I can't figure out how or why they seem to be attracked to the pond. Does anyone have any fancy tricks to keep chickens away/out of the pond? Thanks

    This is my beagle, Rascal... he actually does pretty good around my birds (ducks and chickens) considering that he is only 20 odd some weeks old, usually he just sniffs around, and gets in staring competition with the roosters.
