    Buckeyes

Hi! Fount this Thread. I thought I got 3 Buckeyes but one developed a little more of a comb, this is at 10-11 weeks. Is this a Buckeye Roo or someone else said it might be a production red. Thoughts? The one with 2 chickens, it is the one in the back. The chicken in the front I believe is a hen...

    Buckeye rooster?

The one with the black green in the tail is. Welsummer and is definitely a cockerel. 😁 They are about 10-11 weeks. I was looking at the one that I thought was a Buckeye Roo, and the feathers are more pointed than the others.

    Buckeye rooster?

Ok so I got some closer pictures and a couple with what I believe are the hens. I got them from our local feed store. I ordered 2females and got a third. Guess it was the rooster. The first few pictures he is the one in the back. The rest of the solo pictures are just him.

    Buckeye rooster?

Hi, I believe I have a Buckeye Rooster but wanted to get some feedback. I got 3 Buckeye chicks and this one developed a little more of a comb than the other 2. I am thinking it is Rooster? In the las picture he is next to on of the other Buckeyes for feather comparison.

Hi! Back again! At almost 3 weeks old, this one is a mystery. I ordered cream leg bar and Swedish flour hens and they sent me extra, which they said were Rhode Island reds. At this point I don’t believe any of them are Rhode Island reds. I think I can tell three of the four Swedish flowers I...

    Injury care question!

Today we found one of my ladies with what looks to be a portion of her scalp missing. The bleeding has stopped but I don’t wanna mess with it too much because I’m sure it was very traumatic. We have moved her into our sunroom near a space heater because it’s quite cold out. We were advised by...

    Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Good news! My 2nd chick has hatched some time overnight! Still having a little trouble standing but I looked at it's feet/legs and seems to look ok. Hopefully it will be a little more sturdy tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the good advise. Left it alone and it worked out so far.
