If there is a scab and nothing oozing out hopefully it will be fine. Just keep an eye on it for another few days. My Muscovy have all be great mamas and will gladly take back one if it needed tending too.

It's sad when this happens but these little ones can be amazing how they can recover. Be sure to check out the belly to make sure it's absorbed the yolk and if it's gained strength you can try giving it back to mom.

When Helene hit here we lost internet just got it back 9/15 almost year. We tried other means to get it even star link but we are way to wooded nothing would work.
Soaking in cool, refreshing water may also help. I haven't had a drake get a prolapse but my mini dachshund had one and I placed him in a cool tub of water and let him soak, and it went down on its own.
That is a possibility.
I don't know what to tell you about taping it in place, and it not causing pain. Did you go to the emergency forum and ask for help? Someone on there may be able to give you advice.
