Looks like one of my little ones got pecked to death before I could get them in the brooder, he's struggling along right now but I'm pretty sure he's not going to make it.
4 Silkie chicks now from the broody. Also some due on the 18th from the bator. Quick question for those of you hatching from the bator, if they are all hatching at dif. times when do you take them out of the bator and put into the brooder if some take longer than others, is it safe to open up...
