    bag of fresh spinach, an apple, half an orange, half a cucumber cut langth wise, and a few baby carrots... the carrots are not a favorite around our coop. lol!

    i just got 2 red sex links last weekend and they are about 11-12 weeks. im really curious when they will lay as they are much bigger then my silkieXpolish girls who are about 24-25 weeks! only getting one egg a day from nugget my silkieXpolish pullet and the eggs are on the very small size...

    ^ this isnt entirely accurate in my opinion, i have a pullet silkieXpolish that has a v like stringy crest you would expect her to be a roo... atleast i did until she laid an egg 2 weeks ago!

    i cut some bruised apples in half and the girls hallowed them out like bowls all that was left was little apple skin bowls lol!

    my girls started with bugs and worms then they got some fruit and veggies apples pears tomatoes they like most things unless u get a picky chickn! being so young make sure they dont get too many treats it should be 10% or less a day.

    give her a week or so they will get larger and better with practice! my silkieXpolish started laying last sunday and everyday since her eggs get atleast a gram bigger everyday
