How does everyone introduce chicks to older hens an not have them peck an beat them? I have 3, 2yr old hens and 8, 2 month old chicks right now i have the chicks in a wire dog kennel inside the coop so they all see each other but they cant get to each other just not sure when to let them mix...

Hey! You can give this a try to save your squash i read it somewhere.
1) Get plastic YELLOW solo cups
2) Wooden stake
3) small nail or screw
4) cheap vaseline
Instructions.
Drive the stake into the garden next to your squash plants, Put the solo cup upside down on the stake an tack it in place...
Any one have any DIY garden pest killers or preventers? Or even exsperience with any.
1) Irish springs original bar soap?
2) yellow solo cups tacked upside down on a stake then coated with vaseline to make pest stick to it, yellow for the squash color.
