1. About to do a "German Baking" lesson on call with my sister (we bake things - but the ingredients and tools are referred to in German!)
2. Fold my laundry... Maybe.
3. Play fetch with the dog.
Whoopsie, I forgot about this, lol. I'll have to get on it today. Everyone's drawings so far are gorgeous!
I've not done art properly in a long time, so it's a tad intimidating to hop in with so many lovely pieces - and I'm not a bird drawer at all. 😅 But I will try my best! I think the hardest...
Leave me alone, thinking about and/or caring about those things isn't my job, and I am in fact biologically not wired for it, and it's destructive to the peace of... Actually, pretty much EVERYONE'S lives. I don't need to care. I don't need to even speculate. I'm not trying to do anything about...
Most phones have an app for notes already installed! I believe Notes is an Apple app, yes, it should be hiding on your phone somewhere. If not, you can download it.
That's true, I can only guess that the elevation is for some sort of air flow? But the instructions seem to me to be saying that the brooder it's in can't be on the floor, not that the plate can't be on the floor of the brooder. I'd assume that the average brooder floor is a good half inch of...
You could make your own thread, too, so more people can find it and follow along! That way you can also share candling progress if you so desire, and it'll be easier for you to find and come back to.
I second what BigBlueHen said about it probably being to keep your actual house from catching on fire. That being said, I'd think it would depend on the kind of floor, and that if it's on concrete in a basement, shed, or garage it'd be fine. Not sure. I'd use pillars made of cheap cinder blocks...
I had Jäger laying on my legs several months ago for some form of DPT and it felt AMAZING. It helped me so much, I wished I could just sit there with it for an hour. 😂 He is too big and rowdy now, but maybe we can try again in the future. I'd love for him to be a DPT dog for my Dysautonomia.
Thanks for the advice! I'll bring more treats out next time so we can do some of those things while he's starting to want to rest.
I was thinking I'd probably try and play with him right before bringing him in (whatever day that happens), but also doing that foundation work sounds like a great...
So, what I hope to do is play fetch at least thrice a week, if not more (I will try for daily, but I don't want to overdo it with my history of chronic fatigue - it's been awesome these last couple weeks of pregnancy, and I'm not sure of my current limits). Then, unless having him loose in the...
Went out and played fetch on the cable like I had hoped to. It went great! He didn't fail to bring it back even once, and he caught it right out of the air several times. He came over and flopped down next to me for some resting, so I'd squat next to him unless he tried to playfully engage with...
I put pumpkin and blueberries in it, without freezing, so he can try it out. He was very well behaved for it, lol, I think he could smell the pumpkin from outside so he was sitting very nicely, and I didn't even have to remind him to stay seated.
