Well the other hen passed while I was at class and I finally got in touch w/ a livestock vet. He set me up w/ the state agro dept and for $90+ they are going to do a necropsy n give me a diagnosis!!!! 90+$ well spent to save my other 12 :'(
It's bright yellow diarrhea.... I stared them on an antibiotic and will worm tomorrow am....my super sick hen is drinking from a spoon with medicine and honey.... She's not doing well :'(
Went out this morning to 2 hens hunkered down on the roost looking ill, both seem to have full crops one seems very pale and they both have there heads pulled in and eyes closed!!!!!!!!! WHAT DO I DO?!?!?!?!?!?
Hahahahaha that would make sense... Went to the feed store today they didnt have Valbazen so i got what they had "wazzen 17" after reding the bottle multi times at the store (prolly shoulda had my glasses on) but read it again when I got home and it said NOT FOR HENS PRODUCING EGGS FOR HUMAN...
On the show "the incredible Dr.Pol" he suggests deworming a goose with an oral liquid and putting LYE in the house n run.... My oldest girls are 3 and I have new pulet/new layers I have never wormed and I'm thinking I should. Any suggestions?!?!?!

I have noticed my girls eating my potting soil not just the plants but the dirt and white bits (styrofoam?!?) I have also found them eating old styrofoam packing material that must have blown under thier fav. bush!!!! This can't be good for them!!!! Help!!
My EE use to lay every other day (or so) she was never the BEST egg layer but its been 3 months and NO eggs from her!!! She goes in the nest turns around and walks out like "ehh not today" she's not squatting panting or seeming to be in pain. She has become skidish and does not want to be held...
This is the 2nd time I've gotten a holy egg... This hen always leaves little pellets on the tail end of her eggs but this egg and one 3+ weeks ago had HUGE holes :(. And recently all of my hens have Nast poops ***!!!! Help!!!!
From what I've heard the front line is oil biased (so it doesn't wash off when the animal is in the rain) so keep giving them baths I would use dawn or similar basic dish soap when my hen was sick the local organic farmer told me to give her a warm epson salt "spa" bath.... Good luck
