    I plan to use foam board insulation inside my coop, but because I know the birds will pick at it I will be covering it with empty feed bags by stapling it to the boards. Does this sound like a decent idea? I want to do the boards so that they can be removed in the summer.

    New flock members

    Ended up having to get rid of one of my roosters. But gained 2 hens. Introducing Eragon (red one) and Hawk (grey one). Hawk is a little shy and a month younger than the rest.

    Egg laying age

    Honestly, I'm not sure. I have 5 hens now. Ended up trading one of my roosters. One is a buff Orphington, blue laced red wyandotte, and two others look to have amuricana. (I know I spelled it wrong) and not sure what the last one is. Think she has some leghorn in her.
