    Hi All, I have a 16 week old Basque cockeral for sale. Not crowing yet. Need to find him a new home. His companion turned out to be a Dark Cornish, so I have no use for this beautiful guy now. $20 OBO. I am in Toledo, which is NW Ohio. I'd be willing to meet you part way, if necessary.

    Today ends Day 22 and I have 23 hatched. There are 12 remaining, but no pips and no cheeps. Will leave them til the morning then probably end this hatch. 8 Ameracaucanas, 7 Blue/Splash Marans, 5 Black Sex Links and 3 Sussex. The Hovabator makes things so much easier!

    Five hatched, and 7 pips. Yay! 2 ameraucanas, 1 Sussex, a splash or blue marans and a female black sex link.

    I actually have never, not one single time, seen movement before hatch. I don't throw out unless they are obviously clear or obviously heading south.

    Today is Day 20 and woke up to 3 pips already. Compared to other recent hatches, this is a good sign. I have not had much luck with Marans eggs before, and one of the pips is a Marans! Doing the happy dance.

    Just put into lockdown Sussex, Sexlinks, Ameracaunas, and Blue/Splash Marans. 47 eggs total. First time using my new Hovabator and so far I am very impressed. Only had to pull 3 eggs since setting them and 2 of those looked like they never started. This will be totally freaky if I end up...
