Something took my roosters head off
This morning when I went to let the hens out I found 2 hens and 1 rooster laying in the coop dead, it was a fairly big shock as to why they were dead. I also have a gander but he was untouched. What are my geese doing ?
Today I was outside admiring my birds and for some reason they made noises for about 5 seconds then they ran and flapped there wings very fast to the other end of the small field, any explanation for this ?? Also what is the quickest way to fatten geese ? And what age do they start to lay ? -

So I moved my broody hen out of the normal chicken coop as it was using the nesting box that all the hens used....so I cleaned a big wooden crate out and put down bedding and food init and then moved it into an un-used coop...when I moved the hen into the new coop with the create she became very...- Eringm

No sign of life in eggs
So the eggs under my hen have been under her since Friday and when I candled them today I couldn't see any blood vessels however I thought the yoke looked big in a few of the eggs...should I wait longer or should I have seen blood vessels by now ?- Eringm

Hey, I cleaned out his eye with the saline solution you mentioned. I used tissue and wiped round the area, his eye opened a small but which is good. How many times a day should I do it for ? And how long ?....should I allow him to swim in the pool ? It's just that I wouldn't won't dirty water... -

So yesterday when I was meeting my geese out I noticed my ganders eye was slightly swollen, I don't know how this occurred but today when I was letting them out his was fully shut and I was wondering what I should do. I did what u said and she was sitting on 14 eggs so I took them then left her with 2 hen eggs and a goose egg, so hopefully shell be happy ;?- Eringm

So for the first ever time my hen went broody however she's sitting on to many eggs and when I try to take a few a way she pecks me + I don't even know if I want the eggs to hatch because I can buy any chick starter feed where I live ...what should I do- Eringm

15 eggs and goose still not sitting
So my white embden goose has made a clutch of 15 eggs yet she still isn't sitting ? She's mating with the gander everyday so the eggs are fertilised but she just isn't sitting. Do I give her more time or do I just call it quite's ? -
My duck is dead
