    My bees are still bringing in pollen and some nectar. But I'm sure not to the extent yours are. Hopefully once we get the sweet clover, bee plant and other late blooming stuff in, that will help them. The Rabbit Brush and Sagebrush are still in full bloom.

    I'm not a very good golfer anymore. To many arm and wrist injuries. I keep trying. Right now, I just enjoy being out with my husband, who is a good golfer... since he retired it's his day job!😁 I also like to go out with my friends. I've never seen bumblebees mating, that really was a great catch.

    I didn't go deep into my hives yesterday, but looking down in, looked like there was a lot of capped brood. We'll do a deeper inspection next weekend when we do a mite test. I'm trying to relax...😁

    They can be same type or different. Some bees are known to rob more than others. It's more just trying to have the best chance to survive winter.

    I'm sure it could be from either one. That is a lot of honey. I would think it also depends on how many bees are in a hive. I imagine stealing honey is easier than bringing in nectar, once the fighting is done anyway. Food ready to eat usually is.

    At this time of year bees will rob honey from other hives. Because the weight jumped so much in one day, it shows, that hive is robbing another hive. I hope I explained that good enough. 🙂
