I have the Tylan/Amoxicillin powder and Liquid Corid. I believe one of my boys had coccidiosis with respiratory as the other boy has responded well to Tylan, while this boy has ruffled feathers, reduced feeding and lethargy with ruffled feathers.
I’ve seen writing that you can treat a syringe...
I just finished 5 days of Corid treatment @ 2 tsp per gal of water. I am now going into a week of rest (alternating daily plain water/poultry cell water).
@azygous said in a different post, "The protocol is five days on Corid, one week rest and then five more days on Corid."
My question is...
I think Corid drench dosing is 0.1 mg/pound of weight. Is that correct? Also, what can I do if my birds are bantams and don't weigh a pound yet? Or can I not?
I gave Corid for 5 days after off poops last week. We ended on Monday, all seemed well. Today, more off poops and one of my birds is...
Peachicks are hatching now under a brooding Peahen (Mom) (our first). I found the below dosing- is it the same for chicks? Do I just dose the water and put it out for all to drink? Also, should I be dosing them from day one after they come out or wait for them to be days/weeks old?
For 3-5...
If I wanted to give Corid orally, rather than in the water, does anyone know what the dose would be or have a link to that information. My Lucy weighs 5.1lbs (2.3kg).
Hello again 😖
A few weeks back we had a pretty bad case of coccidia, treated with Corid and because we did the oral drench, we started them on a vitamin supplement after the course of Corid. It’s been 8 days since their last dose of the Corid, I still have DVL Poul-Vite in their water (pic of...

For mine, I gave 2 top liquid Corid mixed in 1 gallon of water as the only water source for 5 days. And for my 2 that presented as very I'll, like yours, I gave a Corid drench. That is just straight liquid Corid in a syringe to the beak. The dose i used for that is in the screenshot of attached...

I would start them on Corid, dosing is below.
Liquid Coriddose is 2tsp or Powdered CoridDose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of...
Endocox aka Toltrazuril is more in line for treating severe cases of the protozoa that causes blood in feces or when Corid is ineffective.
Corid is not an antibiotic, it is a Thiamine blocker.
It's best to start with the Corid unless you're seeing blood in feces.
You saw roundworms in feces...
Just is case, going to purchase some Corid before my chicks arrive in April. Therefore prepared but hopefully not needed and good to have on hand. Seen it in powder or liquid form which is better? Is it better to premix or mix it when needed? I think the mixing dose is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of...
...to give the correct dosing, I'll post that below.
There's an odd poop in the photo, do you still have that? Any layers to it?

Do not add any extra...
...IF you are seeing no improvement, then I'd get some Toltrazuril ordered and continue with the Corid until that arrives.
