I have been intrigued by the appearance, size, temperment, and stories of serama chickens. I would like to get some in the future if I can, but I really don't know much about them and would like to before considering getting them. Is there anything special I need to do when I care for them? I...
A little while back I hatched a couple white silkie x blue andalusians. They are now about a month and a half old. They all have black skin, five toes, and tiny little crests. However, on two of them, I noticed orange feathers coming in. There aren't very many of them, just one or two here on...
Thank you guys so much! You all were so helpful during the whole thing. I had a lot of fun talking to everyone, posting on this thread, and rading your guys' posts. I'll continue to post some pictures of her as she gets older on this thread.
I have some chicks hatching tomorrow out in the coop. Their mom is the hen that originally was sitting on her egg, so I will put her in with them after they hatch.
I have some pictures of her in the brooder, I just have to upload them, which I will do as soon as I can. She's very friendly and loves people. I'm not sure what happened with the other chick....on day 10, I definitely saw both babies moving, next to each other...but it doesn't seem to be there...
