So my dad got me 4 more silkie chickens for my flock, the lady who previously owned them said there were all around 3 months old and she had them already eating layers mash!! From my understanding you where supossed to feed them chick starter for the first two months of life then chick grower...

So im planing on letting one of my silkie hens hatch out chicks and was wondering how would one go about feeding the hen and chicks? Would it be ok to feed the hen chick starter with vitamins ect, or would it be better to feed them seperate food? Thank you!

Heres a couple names that i have gave my silkies... Yeti, Isabella, Daisy, Suzy,( for the hens) and the roo is Rupert :) Have fun with those chickies!!!!
Try puttin Apple cyder vinigar in the water. (a bottle cap full per quarte) It is full of vitimins and is great at cleaning out there system. My 8 chicks have had it in their water since day 1 and have Never had pasty butt. (i have 6 silkies and 2 barred rocks)
