My mom gets so mad every time I tell her we hatched another bunch of chicks. But she'll never stop the love lol. I think I'm going to order 25+ more this spring, and I really want more NNs........... I'm thinking I might need to stop at some point.....

jajajajajajajajaja its called chicken math and once its starts its kinda hard to stop i cant wait to see one of my girls with a bunch of babies around her awwwww its so cute everytime i see a hen with her chicks.....

I'm jealous, i only have 8 chooks and they're pushing our limits of space and the law (livin in suburbia) I use cats for my mom hahahhahahaha(thank goodness they are temporary fosters or I'd be busted for "cat math" a little lonely tonight, mamma's at the vets getting spayed.

That's Stephanie, my lap girl, and she was sitting on my chest as I was laying on a reclined lawn chair thing when I took that. She gets SO close to my face and just stares at me..... I am not going to lie, it kind of scares me a bit.

that's just cuz chickens have those faces that even when you know they're not grouchy... have a "stink eye" quality... and they move so fast! but, i doubt she'd peck you (too hard) if she's that accustomed to handling... my Wilma (BR) gets jealous of the dog, so I sometimes worry that she'll peck her in the eye, but as long as I pet them both... everyone is happy... wish I had a third hand to take a picture with...
