    I use 12" x 12" x 12" for the dimentions. I can only get hard wire cloth in 36" lengths. So, I divide it into 3 cages.

    Well I was able to succesfully pair them off. I had to put a male and female right next to eachother in the next cage, so they could see eachother. This stopped the new introduction fighting. As far as the toe picker, I used hay in the cage to brake up the sight of toes. So, problem solved!
