    NPIP requirements vary from state to state, but here in Ohio, it can be accomplished in a single visit from a poultry inspector who draws a tiny bit of blood from a percentage of your birds. Easy peasy and not particularly expensive.

    Ugh - hate it when that happens. Sorry :( The only thing that makes me feel slightly better when that happens is that at least they weren't chicks. I have had fairly decent luck with shipped eggs so far this year, but that can change in a second. Hopefully not. :fl
