I haven't owned this breed, but to me they don't look buff. I believe they will be whites. I'm not sure if the coloring will still denote sex being of mixed coloring. According to this site you can't sex them by color,Congratulations, they are adorable! @oldhenlikesdogs, are they buff?
Can I ask how much protein is in their feed? We have never had angel wing in our geese but did have it in some ducks years ago. Switching to a low protein waterfowl maintenance feed had them cured in a short amount of time. Fast forward to now and I have just bought some goslings with angel wing. They were on a high protein diet and I am hoping to have the same improvements in them that we had with the ducks now that they're getting low protein feed.Thought I’d update! We ended up with 2 different shades of buff, and one white (which we sadly lost due to a predator.) The gray is from a different batch, and is a hybrid.
(Just in advance, I know about the angel wing baby. We’ve attempted to treat it early on, but no dice. Going to tape her one more round and see if there’s any progress.)
I feed Kalmbach all flock 16% Not a super high protein, but not exactly low either. Can I ask how much protein is in their feed?
