I don't think you would need a mobile coop in the chain link so you can move it out in the yard area for the chickens to be out. If you're going to be out there with them I see no reason they would need a coop in the area, they can always go back to the coop if they need to, within the fence.
This is Ruddy the flock master. He's very sweet and does his job very well. He knows where his hens are 24/7.
This was my sons rooster Silver. Sadly he tried to cross the road and didn't make it :( Chickens should never try to cross the road. He sure was beautiful and had a very big...
No, I've got large breeds. My son has a bantam...in his room. I've got netting over my coop and if I don't keep an eye on it and it gets loose, they're over and out. I stopped clipping wings after I watched a dog kill my favorite hen because she couldn't get away from him. She was trying so hard...

We have one...
I got a couple of guineas last year at a small animal swap I always wanted one, didn't know how loud they were, WOW! Anyhow, I love them. I come to rely on their calls, gives me more comfort than a guard dog.
Anyhow, in the summer when my garden starts growing good, I usually pin up the...
I see so many pictures on here of runs with no tops to them. If you don't have a top to it, how do you keep them in? I just don't get it. Mine would be up and over before you turned around.
The other thing I was wondering, if you free range, do your birds ever spend a second of the day in the...
