They do sometimes hatch, but not often because the two ducklings are competing for resources. It would be totally fun if you hatched out twin ducks LOL :) I would keep it just to see if it hatches. :)
I would reinforce your coop. Even if you kill one, another will come back. So sorry that this is happening to you! :( I moved awhile ago and in one night a raccoon opened my coop and let the chickens out making a free for all buffet for every predator in the neighbor hood. I lost 9 of my 10...
your welcome :) are your chickens free ranged or in a coop and run most of the time? That could affect how much they are willing to get their own food or not. Mine are free range and get most of their food from the yard :)
1) I don't know what kind of grub, but they probably like the rich poop in the pen
2) I have no idea, my chickens eat grubs like crazy! they can never get enough (i have some of the same breeds, not a breed thing)
3) I'm not sure, but if they are rotting, or biting you chickens, that is bad

shouldn't be a problem, goats and horses can eat that stuff...the only thing i'm not positive about is the cucumber. Also i think tomato plants are poisonous.
keep them in while you are butchering, and let the blood drain into a bucket or somewhere were the dogs can't go, same with the feathers. Also don't give them the raw meat, or any that looks like a bird (ex. a whole chicken). Good luck! :)
it won't hurt them, and they will be really interested if you leave a few corn cobs on them. I half peel the corn and toss it in and the drag it around and scratch the rest of the peels off before eating the corn. they don't eat the husk. if you have goats though, they love husks and stalks.
