Hi everybody!
Looks like the Secret Santas are very successful. Great job organizing it, Scoot! (will be emailing you) Merry Christmas everyone. I just wanted to hop on and give everyone hugs.
Very focused around here with baby and Holidays. Not a lot of time to be online.

(btw, thanks for the compliments on my little "pumpkins". We had a fun if chilly Halloween. Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. So far so good here...*knock on wood* aside from the little nagging colds...)
I didn't read everyone's posts so if I am repeating something, so sorry. I use cloth, but I do keep a pack of disposables for just in case. However, I am finding cloth to be much better. I've only ever had a 'blow out' with disposables. There are so many innovations for cloth diapers right now...
you Karan! Welcome back! Sorry you have had to go through so much. They say autumn is a time for many transitions. Hang in there! and hugs from a pudgy little baby too.
No news. things just keep going on. I must get back to my chores while I feel like doing them and have time to do them...
*blush* Thanks! She's a keeper.
She has grown a ton in the first month. (evidence that I have been spending my time feeding baby instead of being online) She was 6 lbs 4 oz when we brought her home (6/12 when she was born) and she's now... *drum roll* NINE Pounds!
Updated pictures soon.

Hi everyone. Sorry I became a hermit for awhile there. I got way overwhelmed with things. Scoot offered up baby Squirrel girl's name but here are the specs.

Hi
Haven't been on here for awhile....but I am hoping for possible advice.
My husband and I are ending our chicken enterprise. Half our stock will be culled unless someone wants non-layers for pets... they are layers, just pretty much done laying. They might perk up if they had a good spoiling...

Maw! Welcome back! Missed you! Sounds like you have quite the home redoing projects going on! We'll need pictures. Hope the illnesses are going away for you!
All of your ideas are things that we are doing with our self serve egg biz or things we have tried and just customized to fit our situation so that it works. I think you've got it and if you only are selling to friends and neighbors, then word of mouth will work well. We only have the road sign...

Nope, we live on the outskirts of a subdivision within city limits. I forgot to mention that my landlord does self serve produce sales on a cart out in the front yard, so we had a relatively built in customer base. We have regulars. New customers tend to call and leave a message on the...
We self serve our eggs. We have a sign out by the road. It tells people to come to the house. In our foyer, right inside our door, there's a small fridge. They can just come get the eggs and put the money in the slotted cash box on our steps. We have had no problems with it, other than the...
Very cool, Leepsy. well not that you found it in your chicken coop, but it looks rather content. Maybe you have a gift with snakes. Next time SE has one, she's going to call you.
mcg30_40 I am sure someone with more skill than I, will get back to you, if you haven't already been PMed. You'd...
Last I heard, Karan was organizing, hosting and attending a 4 day family reunion. If I remember from last year, these reunions of her family's are a BIG deal. Themes and everything. Her pictures were really entertaining. That's probably what she is up to...and the recovery afterwards...
Morning (sleeping late today)
Jen - congrats on your eggs, they'll just rolling in now!
Algo, sounds like you caught something nasty! Hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself!
Yay SE and LC! Now you can start organizing the Hookerville Crochet/chickenStock. hee hee...
No news...
