    Chickens no laying eggs?

I would start by assessing their coop. Chickens like security and to be screened in on all sides at night. Is there an area where it is more open that they are sleeping at night. I actually had this problem with my chickens once and when I addressed the issue they started laying again in a...

I do use pine shavings snd the cheapest place I've found is TSC in lebanon. Have you checked you're local co-op though. Sometimes they have better prices. Ive looked at straw too but never used it. I dont think i helped you much. Sorry.

Then i would look in cottontown, gallatin, hartsville, im not sure if white house allows chickens or not. These are primarily in sumner county. Portland is another area that allows chickens in the city limits as long as they are not consider a nuisance.

There are both. I would stay away from HOAs and try to go the country route. Hendersonvile has biggish city parts, and rural horse farm parts. I would try looking around long hollow pike.

So @carikermoon did your son ever get any Dutch Banny's to show or did he pick something else? I was curious. :) I actually saw some Dutch Bantam hatching eggs on Ebay yesterday that are in Chicago. I was seriously thinking about them because I'm 100% Dutch, (so my parents say..)

    Silkie Crosses!! Show yours off!

Awww...That little guy is sooo cute!!! I have one silkie cross hen. My son named her Nicey, but she's the boss out of all of them. She looks almost completely like a silkie, but her feathers are all normal.
