It is a well insulated Brooder Box, with ease of cleaning and poop management!

A white ring (bulls eye) is what u are looking for which can be seen in the pics.
After 3 days or so of incubation when candling you will see red blood veins forming, if you don't and it glows like a light bulb...
All my eggs I collect are fertile, so here is a few photos I just taken FYI.

I too been having trouble with fights... Got two cage.. Both with 1 roo and 6 hens.
First issue was cage 1 with one hen fully going nuts at the roo. After separation and re introduction of the roo... And separation of the offending Hen, (resulted with the roo nearly blind... Bleeding . head...
By the way, the material is foam sandwiched core board. 100% water proof... Meaning you can hose it down to clean. (not the electrical parts on top).

Well... Today was day 16 of my incubation... This time I moved it to my workshop.... So being out of sight... Suddenly when I was in there I heard... Chirp chirp...
Ran over... And lo and behold 2 thirds of my 43 fertile eggs hatched. All eggs still in the egg Turner and turning!
I did not...
Hind sight always great! Guess it gotta happen to one personally to really learn..... Such in life :)
preferred I ate them.. Rather than the fox!!
