I wanted to try this out so I have one Incubator with the rails still in and one where I layed everyone flat on the tray. I had to help a chick who got cought in the rails this afternoon. Other then that, They are both hatching the same with no real problems either way.
Can someone give me the name of a moderator or someone who has the authority to delete this post. This is very upsetting and is making wish I had never joined BYC.

I am not bent out of shape. I was just rambling last night because I was staring at my box from the USPS and wanted to blurt out how I was feeling at that very moment about shipping, Plus I am likely in a bad mood in general because I might lose my father today. He is under going open...

Exactly!
Maybe I am not being understood or people are just getting upset and posting without even reading my OP. My eggs arrived in a used egg carton with newspaper. No bubble wrap. No time spent packing. No packing materials. And again......If somethign cost $15.000 then I am glad...

I am soooooo upset with MurrayMcmurry and will NEVER order chicks from them again. I will only use Meyer hatchery from now on. Cute pics. I love seeing little chicks!
Lol......So let me get this correct. Now I am not just paying shipping fees for the actual shipping, I am paying for everyones valuable time????? And I am paying for their gas as well?????? I can see a lot of sellers are getting upset about my "Ramble". Is't this the right section for this post...

I tried it with the vent plugs out and now with them in. Lord only knows how old it is....Maybe 10 years? My father in law used it to hatch out turkey eggs but there is nothing wrong with it and its in excellent condition.
All my possible fertile Barnyard mixes are all set in the LG but will be switching over to the Hovabator tomorrow when my current eggs go into lockdown. The hens were free range and there were roosters. I would say about 1 rooster for 6 hens. And they were with their group of hens so I am hoping...
My guess is sellers are jacking up their shipping fees to off set lack of bids on eggs. I have received two shipments of hatching eggs. Both charged either $12-$14 for shipping. Both sellers we from One state over. Both shippers shipped in flat rate PO boxes. Both marked with the exact postage...
Yep thats what mine are. Let me ask you a question? When the red light is on does your tep go up and then the light goes off does your temp drop? I am just wondering because I have found a sweet spot. It will drop to 100 and go up to 101.8 then go back down. Is this typical of the Hovabator? I...
I do have 2 dozen in my new Brinsea right now! BLRW and Silkie/Frizzle mixes. I love it. I have a hovabator too and I dont think its any better than the LG. I stand there ad ti will say 100.4 and withing 5 mins it will climb to 101.8....I am suppose to be swtiching 23 eggs over to it tomorrow...
I am thinking about ordering one more as well. I just got mine in a few days ago and I am in love with. I am thinking of maybe instead of getting 1 new Advance I will get 2 new Eco's. I want nothing more than to toss these Styrafoam bators in the trash. I dont even trust the temps to use as...
Good look with the LG. I have been in what I call LG Hell for 18 days. Too many temp fluxuations. Dips, Spikes, Oh my!!! I started with 26 eggs and only 6 left. I bought a Brinsea.
